Todayshightech.com invites you to contact us about your riding
experiences and asks that you help us to find the most interesting web
sites or other information about trails, resources and literature that has
to do with a great ride. Please do so at
info@todayshightech.com

TodaysHighTech.com is a national company and ships product
throughout the 48 contiguous states. Help us to get trail and
riding information within this area. Share the wealth.

We caution you to read all of the literature with an eye to safety.
Prepare for each ride by examining your machine very carefully. Only
ride the trails that are marked. Use the proper equipment for each type
of ride that you are attempting. Start each ride fully rested and in
good physical condition.

Let someone that you trust know where you are going. Give that person a
map of the trail that you are going on and an expected return time. Give them
a phone number or other method in which to contact you if you forget to
check in with them when you return.

Give them the phone number or a way to get in touch with a close family
member or someone you live with to contact in case they cannot get in
contact with you.

Carry a cell phone (preferably GPS enabled) so that you can be located in
case you are lost. Wear the proper clothing and carry water and an
appropriate amount of nourishment for your ride.

Immediately stop your ride if you feel ill and seek emergency
assistance. Do not ride alone. Three people on a ride is the safest
minimum. One to remain with an injured or ill rider and the other to
seek help. Please be careful.

The following information is provided for your enjoyment. Please let us
know at
info@todayshightech.com of changes in the information that is

you.

* The 2000 edition of the Santa Barbara County Bike Map is
currently available. It's absolutely beautiful and available free from
the Traffic Solutions office. For a printed copy, contact Joann Hart,
phone 805-961-8925. The map is additional available online to view and
print. The individual files are large, but just be patient.

* The project was underwritten by Traffic Solutions (a division of
the Santa Barbara County Association of Governments) and Caltrans
District 5. Members of the Bicycle Coalition and bicycle clubs
throughout the County helped verify and recommend the vast network of
bike ways shown. The map also contains bike safety tips, legal
information, and useful contacts.

* Only paved routes are shown on the map. For off-road biking, check with a
local bike shop.
